June 14, 2017, first stop was Westphalia Trading Company, then Painted Rock Conservation Area, then lunch in the Meta Civic League Hall, compliments of Mid America Bank. After lunch the bus went to Kempker’s Back 40 Wedding Barn (pictured at right) and on to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Folk. Last event of the day was a bale-wrapping demonstration by Kenny Luecke. Everyone had a good time according to feedback forms. Both the wedding barn and bale wrapping stole the show — even under gray clouds most of the afternoon, threatening rain!
