People flocked to visit Linn City Park, just off U.S. Highway 50, Saturday, June 24, for Taste of Osage County. They met local food producers and crafts people — a farmer’s market on steroids! The park afforded shade for Taste of Osage County producers, makers, shakers and purveyors of fun and flavor to talk about what they do — people from Osage County and surrounding agricultural communities from Jefferson City to the Highway 44 corridor. The Osage County Agritourism Council organizes the event to fullfill their mission — “Open our doors to showcase Osage County’s unique communities, heritage, agricultural lifestyle and products.” They partnered this year with University of Missouri Extension and Missouri River Bluffs Association to bring you one nice afternoon in the park. Even the perfect weather was in on it!
